This year my area of focus will be creating lessons that are meaningful. This is important for encouraging my students to think critically and promotes a deeper more engaging learning environment. To achieve this, I plan to incorporate lessons that highlight higher-level thinking and learning rather than simple surface learning. The only barrier that will prevent this from being a reality is possibly time.
